Educational Technology

At Hendricks Middle School, technology plays an important role in creating engaging, meaningful learning experiences for our students. As part of our district’s 1:1 Chromebook program, every student is provided with a Chromebook to use at school and take home each day, giving them access to learning anytime, anywhere.

Every classroom is equipped with an interactive Smart Panel, and our teachers have access to a variety of digital platforms that allow them to create interactive lessons, virtual science labs, collaborative activities, and engaging assessments.

Our Educational Technology Coach (ETC), Ms. Tosi, works alongside teachers and students to help make the most of these technology tools and resources. She provides support with Canvas, online learning days, Digital Citizenship, and the many digital resources available to our school community.

We believe learning doesn't have to be boring! Technology gives our students opportunities to explore, create, collaborate, and take an active role in their learning—helping us make learning more engaging every day.
